Assault Armor is an OS Tuning feature in Armored Core 6. Assault Armor is an OS Tuning feature that grants players more room for improvement and enhancement to their offense and defense potential. All of the OS Tuning features can be found in the OS Tuning menu and can be unlocked and upgraded with OST Chips acquired from the Arena.

Unlocks Core Expansion: Assault Armor and allows it to be installed. Assault Armor creates a pulse explosion centered on the AC, cancelling out incoming enemy fire and creating a damaging area-of-effect shockwave.

Armored Core 6 Assault Armor Notes & Tips

  • Assault Armor can have up to 3 Charges in single player, but only 1 Charge in PvP (OS Tuning upgrades don't carry over to multiplayer, though all Expansions will be unlocked by default).
  • The cooldown period after use is 35 seconds
  • When using one of the Coral generators (IA-C01G: AORTA or IB-C03G: NGI 000), This will actually cause Assault Armor to deal more damage than normal since enemies don't have a defense stat for Coral damage (testing is needed).
