R-Back Units in Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon are Unit parts in the game. Units are parts of the player's Armored Core that serve as the primary offensive parts of their Builds, which create the primary way that they can damage and eventually dispatch hostile Enemies. Having said this, some Units can also offer more defensive functions, while some also offer support for the Armored Core that leans more toward utility. R-Back Units in particular lean more toward offense between the two back units for the Armored Core. This back armament can serve as the player's way to deal damage against Enemies, under certain conditions, supporting other Units in their Build.
What type of R-Back Units are there in AC6: Fires of Rubicon?
As mentioned above, R-Back Units seem to mainly fall under the category of offensive weaponry, specifically of the ranged sort. To serve as another complementary means of attack for the player's Armored Core, these Units consist of weapons that typically have high Attack Power, or a high Attack Power spread out over multiple targets. These complementary Units also tend to have some form of reload or cooldown time before they can be deployed again, to balance from their strength.
R-Back Units from the shop consist of different types of Missile Launchers, and Laser Canons. The different types of launchers serve a variety of different functions for different battle situations. For example, some have more verticality to them to bypass any protection the Enemies might have. Some spread out into multiple smaller ammunition, to quickly clear out multiple smaller Enemies at once. The versatility of Back Units allows for complex layers of depth to the player's Builds.
