L-Arm Units in Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon are Unit parts in the game. Units are parts of the player's Armored Core that serve as the primary offensive parts of their Builds, which create the primary way that they can damage and eventually dispatch hostile Enemies. Having said this, some Units can also offer more defensive functions, while some also offer support for the Armored Core that leans more toward utility. L-Arm Units in particular can lean more toward support and take up the slot that is primarily considered to be the support armament slot. The support armament will serve as the player's way to complement the primary reliable damage done by their R-Arm Units. L-Arm Units can deal damage against Enemies in a way that's completely different from the player's chosen R-Arm Unit, serving as complementary damage whenever the R-Arm Unit is unusable, or it can double up on it, depending on what the player needs in a given situation.

What type of L-Arm Units are there in AC6: Fires of Rubicon?

As the primary armament for the player's Armored Core, L-Arm Units seem to fall under a variety of weapon categories. To serve as the complementary means of attack for the player's Armored Core, these Units consist of weapons that have a variety of uses, which can fit the Armored Core's Build, depending on the equipped R-Arm Unit. L-Arm Units can have extremely strong firepower but can only be used every once in a while, to weave between attacks from the R-Arm Unit.

Similarly, a melee L-Arm Unit can expand the different combos that a player's Armored Core can do when weaved in between attacks from its other Units. They can also just be another source of consistent, reliable damage for more balanced-typed Armored Cores. L-Arm Units from the shop consist of different types of Rifles, Pile Bunkers, Shotguns, Gatling Guns, Bazookas, Grenade or Bomb Launchers, and the occasional Laser Blade.

Other Units exist in Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon that will serve to complete the player's Build, and work together with their Armored Core's L-Arm Unit. These Units can function as support against airborne mobs, firepower for clearing the more insignificant mobs quickly, additional stats to support certain actions, a reliable consistent source of damage, and defensive options to whip out in a pinch.
