AC6 AH12: HC Helicopter Boss Fight Strategy

The Best Frame Parts, Units, and other builds to defeat AH12: HC Helicopter.

  • AH12: HC Helicopter will approach the arena after you've accessed the final wreck. During this time, move in and close your distance and try to get underneath the helicopter right away, this will significantly improve your success at defeating this boss, as this helicopter is very dangerous at mid-to-long range. You can already start damaging the helicopter even before its health bar appears on the screen. Take advantage of this window and deal as much damage as you can to get a headstart.
  • Your Pulse Blade is the strongest weapon in your current arsenal during this mission, so stay close and hack away its AP gauge before the real fight starts.
  • Whenever you stagger the AH12: HC Helicopter, you can capitalize on dealing additional damage from direct hits. You can use Assault Boost toward the helicopter while firing, then use your Pulse Blade once you're within melee range to inflict as much ACS strain as possible.
  • With proper timing and positioning, you can land a Pulse Blade combo the instant the AH12: HC Helicopter staggers, and can deal a huge amount of damage.
  • Keep pressuring the AH12: HC Helicopter by Assault Boosting toward it while firing, and listen to any attack indicators warning you of incoming heavy missiles and use the structures around you for cover when necessary.
