IA-02: ICE WORM is a Boss in Armored Core 6. IA-02: ICE WORM is a Boss encountered in Destroy the Ice Worm. For this mission, you'll be deployed at the Unobservable Area within the Central Ice Field. You are tasked with destroying a massive weapon deployed by the Planetary Closure Administration, the Ice Worm. Arquebus will provide a prototype weapon to ensure the breach of the Ice Worm's Coral shielding, and you will be provided the shoulder weapon VE-60SNA ("Stun Needle Launcher") for this mission.

IA-02: ICE WORM is a boss encountered in the Destroy the Ice Worm
- This is not an optional boss

- IA-02: ICE WORM is a gimmick boss that has two shields rendering it completely immune to damage while it moves around the area and attacks. The primary shield can be destroyed by attacking its head, while the secondary shield is only destroyed after a firing sequence from a distant Rail Cannon, after which the boss can finally be attacked before the process repeats. It is highly recommended to use the shoulder weapon VE-60SNA as it will destroy the primary shield in one shot, although this mission can be started without it, prompting unique dialogue and requiring you to attack the head normally to break the shield.

AC6 IA-02: ICE WORM Boss Mission
IA-02: ICE WORM in Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon can be first found in the mission Destroy the Ice Worm. The main objective of this mission is to destroy the Ice Worm, a massive weapon deployed by the Planetary Closure Administration. You will be accompanied by G5 Iguazu, V.II Snail, and "Chatty" Stick during this mission. As you begin, you'll immediately engage in combat with the Ice Worm.

- Player by default brings VE-60SNA, a gimmick weapon that destroys shield with 1 hit to the face (1st, 2nd phase) and 2 (3rd phase). After that, Rusty will shot with rail gun and destroy Ice Worm 2nd shield, stunning it for several seconds.
