ENTANGLE / Sulla is a Boss in Armored Core 6. ENTANGLE / Sulla is one of the Bosses encountered in the Mission Chapter 1: Attack the Watchpoint. During the Mission, Sulla appears in his Armored Core, the ENTANGLE, to stop Augmented Human C4-621 from getting to the Watchpoint's control center and ultimately destroy the sensor valve waiting inside. The ENTANGLE boasts consistent and relentless pulse orb attacks and formidable agility which can catch players off-guard due to its contrast against other Armored Cores they encounter during the Mission.

AC6 ENTANGLE / Sulla Boss Mission

ENTANGLE / Sulla in Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon can be first found in the Mission Chapter 1: Attack the Watchpoint. The Mission has Augmented Human C4-621 invade a Watchpoint facility in order to destroy its core's sensor valve inside the control center. The player has to first quickly destroy any resistance to the infiltration, while Handler Walter makes sure they are unable to call for reinforcements. After going through two groups of Enemies as the player makes for the control center, they are stopped short by Sulla who is apparently guarding the main facility, presumably hired by the PCA as an independently-contracted mercenary.

AC6 ENTANGLE / Sulla Boss Fight Strategy

The Best Frame Parts, Units, and other builds to defeat ENTANGLE / Sulla.

  • ENTANGLE / Sulla can catch you off guard because of its agility, only because the previous Armored Cores that you fought during the Mission are very slow and almost only move one-dimensionally. Nonetheless, Sulla's isn't the fastest mech out there and can easily be outmaneuvered, so you should watch your EN levels as you proceed.
  • ENTANGLE / Sulla seems to be quite careful with their EN usage, which makes him hover close to the ground at the start of the fight when he approaches you. You can use this to your advantage and use the nearby structures to corner the mech and render them immobile. Rushing in with Laser Blade Units can prove useful for this, as well as Missile Launcher Back Units that can instantly be fired and will hit hard at point blank. Players may also be able to pile onto this tactic by using heavier Frames to keep the mech pinned to a corner.
  • ENTANGLE / Sulla rarely uses the mech's powerful shotgun, but it does so when close enough, and seemingly only when it's almost a hundred percent sure to hit. A defensive option for your Armored Core's L-Back Unit can be deployed at the right time to mitigate the damage done by this attack and allow for a window to counterattack.
  • ENTANGLE / Sulla has a lot of explosives and plasma weapons equipped, and most of his attacks have both large effect radiuses and leave behind lingering areas of damage. Try to stay mobile and off the ground and outmaneuver him during the fight.
  • When approaching ENTANGLE / Sulla, always try to lead with your missiles since they have the strongest homing capabilities, and then while he's either getting hit by or using all of his EN to evade them, you can charge up your plasma rifles at him from above.
  • Try to keep moving around while simultaneously firing at him, and keep an eye out for when he fires from his right arm. The JVLN ALPHA equipped on his right arm causes him to stop moving, this will give you a brief moment to land a devastating attack on him while he's vulnerable.
  • Once ENTANGLE / Sulla is below 40% AP, he'll use his Repair Kit. So keep that in mind and don't be afraid to use yours as well, as you will be able to resupply immediately once you defeat him.

ENTANGLE / Sulla Attacks & Counters

Attack Description Counter
Boost Kick Sulla will rush in and attempt to kick your AC. He'll most frequently use this attack when your ACS is either close to or already overloaded. Quick Boost away from ENTANGLE.
44-141 JVLN ALPHA / Detonating Bazooka Can be used at any time or range, and upon impact will cause a short chain of explosions, further increasing its effective range. Use a carefully timed Quick Boost to either side once the shell has fired. Evade too soon and the shot will adjust its trajectory to match; too late and you'll get caught in the blast.
HI-18: GU-A2 / Pulse Gun This pulse gun shoots out bursts of pulse energy that favor speed over pinpoint accuracy, causing the projectiles to spread into a frontal cone pattern. Strafe or Quick Boost away from the direction Sulla is firing in, or jump and ascend above the stream.
Vvc-703PM / Plasma Missile Launcher A volley of three plasma missiles with aggressive homing capabilities that create lingering damage fields upon impact. Jump and Quick Boost away to avoid being caught in the damage fields.
45-091 JVLN BETA / Detonating Missile Launcher The missile releases a cord behind itself and moves relatively slowly through the air, capable of multiple changes in direction. Upon impact, in addition to the explosion from the missile itself, the cord will also detonate, creating a chain of explosions toward its release point. Boosting above the trajectory of the missile or Quick Boosting to either side will most effectively avoid it and its subsequent explosions.

Dialogue

Introduction:

Attacking a Watchpoint...? You're incorrigible, Handler Walter. How many of your dogs must I kill before you learn?

During Fight:

Pitiful dog. I feel sorry for you, I really do. You may have survived a little longer, if only you had a different master.

Where's 619 and 620? Dead? Which ones did I kill, I wonder...?

You're one of Gen Four's lot. I hear you make fine hounds with the right training... Shame you'll have to die here.

Defeating player: Another dead dog. Was it worth it, Walter? Their blood is on your hands...

After Fight:

Walter... Stay away from the Watchpoint...
